How Shahrp helped:
DAWN is an organisation that helps Asian women fulfil their entrepreneurial
dreams and aspirations, through its network, programmes and events.
DAWN secured sponsorship from Creative London and the British Library
and hosted its Entrepreneurship Programme. Shahrp’s help was
enlisted to promote this. Following the success of Shahrp’s
PR activities, DAWN asked Shahrp to help promote DAWN Creative,
a panel discussion and networking event, which was a culmination
to the Entrepreneurship Programme. |
Results:
Shahrp’s role involved drafting, distributing and following
up a press release on the Entrepreneurship Programme. Interviews
were conducted with a variety of media titles and press coverage
was secured in, amongst others, London’s Evening Standard,
Asian Times, Asian Voice, Asian Post, Asian Leader, Eastern Eye
and a number of online media outlets. The programme was fully booked
with 15 women participating. The PR activity for the DAWN Creative
event resulted in further press coverage in the Evening Standard,
the main Asian press, Business Link’s website and an interview
broadcast on Sunrise Radio. The event was oversubscribed.
